NEWS ABOUT TRAVIS EDMONSON
IN 2005

The year got off to an exciting start with the introduction of THE TRAVIS EDMONSON COLLECTION,  a project to digitise all his albums onto CD, several being made available to fans in a limited edition collection.

In January Travis Edmonson became principal host of the “Valley Views” TV talk show, introducing a series of talented musicians from Arizona and beyond.

He had to relinquish the position in April as the result of a serious fall which left him hospitalised for two months.  Fans will be pleased to know that the indomitable spirit is strong as ever, and that Travis Edmonson has made an excellent recovery.  He was able to attend the Kingston Trio Fantasy Camp in August as a special guest, and even performed at one of the concerts.

On September 18Travis Edmonson was inducted into the Arizona Culture Keepers, and November 2005 saw the first-ever release on CD by the Travis Edmonson Collection of  the rare live album "Bud & Travis in Person at the Cellar Door."

At the end of 2005 producer/director Bill McCune began working on a documentary about Travis Edmonson, to be completed in 2006.  More about that in the FEATURES SECTION!
