Entertainer BROWNIE MacINTOSH has had a wide-ranging career in show business, including writing for The Kingston Trio.
I remember so clearly hearing the music of Bud & Travis on the radio and thinking "wow, what a fantastic sound!" Bud and Travis were most definitely an influence in my musical career.

GEORGE W. COX in New Mexico has had the superlative pleasure of enjoying many Travis Edmonson live performances.
I first saw Bud and Travis at a coffee house in La Mesa, California in about 1965. Later I heard Travis Edmonson several times in late 1968-early 1969 at the Ramada Inn near the
interstate in Tucson, Arizona. Then, when I was running a National Science Foundation summer institute in Aspen, Colorado, in 1970 and/or 1971, Travis was directing a summer activities program at the Snowmass Ski Area near Aspen, and he sang at a venue there. We heard him several times.
The best part of the performance was when he did Malagueña Salerosa, starting in a hallway outside the main room of the bar. It created a haunting feel to that beautiful song. My wife and I did hear him later at a club in Tucson on Prince Road (or Roger Road.
Travis' music has been something that I have never grown tired of, and I try (but do not succeed well!) to do some of his songs on my guitar.
I'm glad to see more of the Bud & Travis and Travis alone music coming out.

The favorite Bud & Travis album of PAT REED in Maryland is the gatefold In Concert recorded at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
I loved hearing Bud and Travis in my youth, and remember that they once appeared at the Cellar Door in Washington, D. C. It is wonderful that their music is on CD."

It's been the pleasure of JAMES BANGO in Hawaii to obtain one of his most treasured albums on CD via The Travis Edmonson Collection.
I bought the Bud and Travis debut album when it first came out and have thought of it many times. I am now 70 years old and would like to hear them sing again.

MIKE JAMES PHIMISTER has just recorded the Travis Edmonson composition South Wind for his new CD Mixed Bag.
I have several of the bud & Travis albums and still play them. Their breadth of musical skill and sensitive interpretations, especially on songs like Joey, Joey, Joey, had a way of appealing to even the most ardent folkey.
It was my pleasure to record South Wind in an arrangement melodically similar to the one done by Nick Reynolds, but I believe the accompaniment is fuller, yet tasteful. I hope Mr. Edmondson likes this version.
My wife and I are retired educators and are looking forward to performing in numerous festivals as a duo as well as with Hank Cramer and the USS Constellation Crew.
We just got back from the Tumbleweed Folk Festival where we performed the song. It got great reviews from the audience, especially those in a Kingston Trio workshop who had not heard the song in years. We also have an album of original songs for kids and a jazz album that we are quite proud of."

RUFE BRUTON is a fan of Travis Edmonson as a soloist as well as part of Bud & Travis.
The pleasure that Bud and Travis gave me years ago has been rekindled again. I shall remember Travis in my prayers at mass and continue to thank God for placing such a wonderful gift of his talent in my life. Thanks for all that you are doing for Travis and us.

The favorite Bud & Travis album of BILL LYNCH in Sonoma, California is B&T in Concert.
I saw Bud and Travis in concert at UC Santa Barbara in the early 1960s and had their in concert album for years until I wore it out.
